How We Work
Our engineers visit your site to assess requirements, capacity needs, and regulatory obligations under KEBS and LPG regulations.
We produce a fully costed engineering design — including pipe layout, equipment specification, and compliance documentation.
Our licensed team executes the installation to KEBS standards. All work is inspected and signed off by a certified engineer.
We commission the system, train your team, and provide full documentation including maintenance schedule and compliance certificates.
Common Questions
A standard residential apartment block reticulation typically takes 2–4 weeks from design approval to commissioning, depending on building size and pipe run complexity. Industrial installations may take 4–8 weeks. We provide a detailed project timeline during the assessment phase.
Yes. All LPG installations in Kenya must comply with Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) KS 1938 and related standards. Megtraco Kenya installations are fully KEBS-certified, and we handle all compliance documentation on your behalf.
For piped systems serving 10+ residential units or commercial kitchens, a minimum aggregate capacity of 200 kg (typically 2 × 100 kg cylinders in manifold) is recommended. For larger facilities we design bespoke bulk tank systems. Contact our engineers for a capacity assessment.
Yes. We offer annual inspection and preventive maintenance contracts for all systems we install, including pressure testing, regulator servicing, and compliance recertification.
